Hitcents founders Chris
and Clinton Mills
started their technology
careers early in life.
As children, the twin
brothers had a knack for
taking apart their toys
and analyzing them.
In 1994, the twins
received their first
computer.
They began to learn the
internal workings, as
well
as the programming side,
of a basic computer.
In 1996, as seventh
graders, they went to
work for
a company designing
Visual Basic programs to
monitor machinery with
optic eye systems and
conveyor belts. That
year, they also created
their
first webpage.
As high school
sophomores, Chris and
Clinton
started Hitcents, a
company focusing on
internet
advertising. To adjust
to the ever-changing
technology market,
Hitcents has been
reinvented
several times to best
meet the ends of their
clients
and to stay ahead in the
technology industry.
Today, Hitcents provides
innovative and
insightful
solutions in the areas
of eCommerce
development,
computer technology,
internet marketing,
creative
design, software
innovation, video
production, and
automation systems to
clients with a primary
focus
on customer service.
Hitcents subsidiaries
include
Utopia Self Scan (a
partnership with Pan
Oston);
Omniprise ERP Systems
and EyeOn Automation.
EyeOn Automation
controls lighting,
climate,
audio/video, security,
surveillance, and other
electronics in
residential homes and
commercial
offices. These "smart
buildings" have proven
to be
energy efficient and
create more comfortable
environments. The EyeOn
has gone beyond
technology of the past
by networking all
systems
with one server and
alleviating the need for
several
controllers. This has
resulted in Hitcents
becoming
a leader in the smart
building business.
EyeOn Automation system
was first on display in
the 2005 Parade of
Homes. It is now being
implemented in several
homes and businesses,
including the new
Bowling Green Area
Chamber of
Commerce building on
Circus Square in Bowling
Green. |
